A father of a six-year-old boy has tragically died after he fell over and banged his head on Christmas Eve. Anthony Michael Lee, 35, was discovered near Armitage Bridge in Huddersfield but it is currently unknown why he was in that part of the town at the time of his death, the Mirror reports.

His heartbroken family have paid tribute to the single dad who's been described as a 'really good lad'. The victim reportedly suffered from bad liver disease and was living with his devastated mother at the time of his death who had only just lost her other son, Trevor Lee two years ago.His brother-in-law Dean Wild said: "We are all heartbroken, he was like a brother to me.

At the moment all we know is that he may have fallen and banged his head. I will remember Anthony as a really good lad. "He was a keen Huddersfield Town FC fan and liked to go to Huddersfield town centre pubs such as The Crown on Westgate and Wetherspoons Cherry Tree on John William Street.

Everybody knew him. He couldn't work because he had quite a bad liver disease."Anthony has a six-year-old son who has gone back to live with his mum in Bradford." The family have now organised a GoFundMe campaign where they have already raised over £250 to give Anthony the best send off possible.
