A dad's 50th birthday holiday was "ruined" after his family was left with no luggage following Sunday's power cut at Manchester Airport.
David Barnes travelled to Menorca from Manchester Airport with his wife Debbie Barnes and their son Riley but says he has faced nothing but challenges since arriving at the airport on Sunday, 23 June.
All flights from terminals 1 and 2 were cancelled or delayed after a power cut hit. The soon-to-be 50-year-old arrived at the airport where his flight was delayed but after boarding the plane with his wife and son, was told some luggage had been put onboard but not all of it.
Despite the pilot's announcement, when the passengers got off the plane after landing in Spain, they found that just prams and buggies had made it.
