The father of a teenager who sadly passed away in a police chase crash says he wants to ask questions ‘to see what really happened’ at the full inquest set to go ahead in November.
Shae Marlow, 16, tragically died after the VW Golf he was driving hit a wall on Road, Stalybridge, Tameside on November 3, 2020.
Following the incident, Greater Manchester Police issued a statement saying officers were earlier called to an 'attempted burglary' at a shop.
A pre inquest review was held today (August 26) at the South Manchester Coroner's Court and Shae’s father, Malcolm Marlow, who disputes his son’s link to the burglary, said: “I just want to ask my questions to see what really happened.” Ahead of a full inquest into Shae’s death in November, which has been adjourned ‘several' times, a number of issues were reviewed such as the family’s legal representation, the family’s observation of CCTV footage and the reading of evidence and attendance of four potential witnesses.
