A worried dad is concerned that he is living next to the biggest puddle in the UK. James Black says he has measured the puddle and it comes in at a whopping 100m long, reports Gloucestershire Live.James says the waterfall in the area means the puddle has continually kept reforming outside his home in Cheltenham.
The homeowner claims that the body of water takes up half of Whaddon Road.James said: “Living opposite means me and my family are frequently drenched on leaving home.
I have a one-year-old and it’s frankly unacceptable.“It takes three days to recede. I’ve never seen a puddle 100m long, ever.”The father added that vehicles going through the puddle splash water onto the pavement and even up to his front door.
He says this has been an issue since he moved into the property two years ago and has been raised with Gloucestershire County Council’s highways department.
