Nicola Sturgeon said her thoughts are with those affected by the spate of incidents in Kilmarnock. We told how three potentially linked incidents, including a reported 'stabbing' in the East Ayrshire town put some areas on lockdown, including Crosshouse Hospital.
Ms Sturgeon asked locals to avoid the area in a bid to assist cops on the scene. The FM wrote on Twitter: "My thoughts are with those involved in these very serious incidents in Crosshouse/Kilmarnock."Please help Ayrshire Police do their job by following the advice to stay away from the areas affected."The first incident took place at around 7.45pm outside Crosshouse Hospital.The second took place around 20 minutes later on Portland Street.A serious road crash, on the A76, occurred.
