Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted the FA's improper conduct charge for slapping a mobile phone from the hand of an autistic teenager.Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag had previously informed reporters that Ronaldo would "not accept" the FA's charge relating to an incident at Goodison Park last April.

The misinterpretation was put down to Ten Hag's English.The manager and Man Utd will stand by Ronaldo's belief that there were mitigating circumstances which they hope will lessen the Portugal star's punishment.
