Netflix's Cheer took home the Emmy for outstanding unstructured reality series at Saturday's Creative Arts awards. The docuseries about the cheerleading squad at Navarro College in Texas beat out Food Network's Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, Netflix's Kevin Hart: Don't F*** This Up, VH1's RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked and HBO's We're Here for the award. "When we began filming, it would not have occurred to us that this would've been possible," executive producer and director Greg Whiteley said in a pretaped acceptance speech. "All of us owe a debt to the good people at Navarro College." Whiteley won an Emmy for directing the series earlier in the week.
