A number of drivers are having to isolate because of Covid-related reasons, causing issues on the Rochdale via Oldham line. Tickets and passes are being accepted on a range of bus services instead.
A statement on the Transport for Greater Manchester website said: “Due to an operational incident we are currently experiencing severe delays on the Rochdale via Oldham line. “Services travelling in both directions between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre are affected. “This is because of staff absence related to Covid-19.
