SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Holding his daily press conference inside a small business in Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood Tuesday, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that the threat posed by the Coronavirus has decreased to a point that state health department officials are comfortable moving into the second phase of reopening California’’s economy.
More explicitly detailed guidelines will be released on Thursday Newsom said. His briefing was conducted inside Display California, a store that sells California-made products.
The governor was accompanied by Sacrament Mayor Darrell Steinberg who also addressed reporters. Stressing that certain retail sectors could open Friday with curbside pickups and other restrictions, Newsom cautioned
