The cousin of murdered PCSO Julia James has questioned why there has been no public uproar over women's safety following her beloved relative's murder.
Samantha Griffin, a presenter at Radio Ashford, took to Facebook to ask where the vigils and protests are for her cousin. Ms James' death comes less than two months after thousands took to the streets to take a stand after Sarah Everard's body was found just 25 miles away in Great Chart, Kent.
There was an outpouring of public anger that a woman, going about her normal life, was attacked and killed. Ms Griffin posted a photo to Facebook of her cousin smiling, with a blue line and pink heart across it accompanied by her impassioned plea.
