A couple who allegedly fled a Thai restaurant without paying their £76 bill have been branded 'scruffs' as the owners appealed for more information.
The pair were dining at Lemongrass on Smithdown Road, Wavertree in Liverpool on Sunday evening (September 10) before leaving at around 8.45pm.
The restaurant shared CCTV footage to its Facebook page of the man and woman as they appeared to run off without footing their bill, reports the Liverpool ECHO.
Merseyside Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing after the alleged theft was reported to the force. The restaurant wrote on its Facebook that the pair "had dinner [and] ran away without paying food bills worth £76".
