A couple were left terrified after a man 'threatened to stab' them both in an unprovoked attack as they walked down the street.
Emma Rosson, 24, was picking up food from Panicos takeaway in Chorlton with her boyfriend, Alex, after spending a lovely evening together.
They were looking at properties in the window of Jordan Fishwicks estate agents when a random man allegedly started shouting and charging towards them, threatening to knife the couple.
He then reportedly held up his fist in both of their faces and chased Alex down Barlow Moor Road.Speaking to Manchester Evening News, Emma said: "We had just gone out for food in Chorlton and some guy just came up to us completely unprovoked and threatened to stab us both. "We heard shouting behind us, turned around and just saw this guy coming towards us."He was holding his fist to both our faces saying he was going to stab my partner and me, 'his b***h', up."I have no idea why this all happened, we had never seen him before and had our backs to him the whole time before he started approaching us."He ended up chasing my boyfriend down the street telling him he was going to stab him because he 'works for the police', when he doesn't."It was so scary.
