KATHERINE Williams-Dunning, the daughter of Hank Williams Jr., was tragically killed in a car crash on Saturday. Her brother, Sam Williams, posted the news on Facebook.
Katie, 27, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe down Highway 79, near Antioch Road in Tennessee when she crashed at around 7:45 p.m, WKRN reported.
The SUV, which was also towing a boat, crossed the median and rolled over, traveling across the northbound lanes and then coming to a stop on the shoulder of the road, Tennessee Highway Patrol reported.
The young mother was pronounced dead at the scene. Katie was also accompanied by her husband, 29-year-old Tyler Dunning, who was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
