Cost-of-living crisis bites as half of North Ayrshire's tenants behind on rent payments

Almost half of North Ayrshire Council tenants have fallen behind with rent payments.Some 5,460 tenants – 43.5 per cent – have arrears on their accounts for 2021-22.This is up just four per cent from 2017-18.
