Millions of households across the UK are set to receive a £150 cost of living payment today. The one-off payment will be paid directly to those living with disabilities in order to help them with rising bills.
The money will begin appearing in people's bank accounts from 20 September but the majority will receive their payments during the first two weeks of October.
It will help those with disabilities pay for any energy intensive equipment they might have, as bills continue to soar. Millions of people on disability benefits are eligible for the payment, but claimants must have received or started an eventually successful claim for one of the following benefits as of 25 May to be eligible.
You may be eligible for the payment if you claim Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment, Attendance Allowance, Armed Forces Independence Payment, Constant Attendance Allowance, or War Pension Mobility Supplement.
