Stacey Solomon has admitted that she may struggle to pay her energy bills this winter amid the cost of living crisis. The X Factor star shares their sprawling £1.2million home with new husband Joe Swash and their children – Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Harry, and Rose.

DIY queen Stacey shared her fears that their dream family home, which she has spent years renovating, will become out of their means.

Stacey’s comments come as the energy price cap comes into place on October 1, meaning the typical household energy bill will be frozen at £2,500.

However, a household’s actual energy bill could be more or less than the £2.5k, as Prime Minister Liz Truss ’ Energy Price Guarantee caps the cost per unit.
