Coronation Street viewers learned a major twist on Friday night, as the Platts faced turmoil thanks to a sinkhole that formed in their garden.
As the huge hole appeared, David and sister Sarah didn't know what to do so contacted their water company. Soon someone came round to investigate and claimed it was an expensive job, and that the house wasn't safe.
After being told they wouldn't be allowed to live there for a while, Ray Crosby decided to jump in and offer them a stay at his hotel.
Later on though, viewers learned he was behind the sinkhole - as was the person who went to check it out. During a conversation, he revealed he made the man do it in a bid to damage the Platts' garden, but not the house.
