Corrie bosses have spilled the beans behind Tyrone and Alina’s steamy kiss in recent episodes and it’s a lot more juicy than you think.

With social distancing regulations in place, any sort of intimate scene on set is going to pose problems — after all, it’s hard to depict closeness when your actors are two metres apart at all times.

Despite the rules, the clever clogs at Corrie have found a way to step things up a notch by using a real life couple who are in a bubble together.

While on screen it looks like Alina and Tyrone are in a proper clinch, the reality is they weren’t even sitting beside each other while filming, with both Alan Halsall and Ruxandra Porojnicu acting out their scenes to a pair on sunglasses on a stick (!).
