Corrie legends Bill Roache and Julie Goodyear are set to make an epic return to the cobbles. ITV bosses have decided to pay homage to the soap's most iconic and long running characters with a series of spin-off episodes.

While filming has been forced to a stop due to the deadly outbreak of the coronavirus, Corrie bosses have found the perfect way to fill up some air time which has sadly been slashed thanks to the bug.

Coronation Street fans are said to be in for a treat with a brand new four-part series focused on it's longest running actors, along with the most explosive storylines in the soap's history.
