Coronation Street is set to see the return of bad boy Jacob Hay. The character, played by Jack James Ryan, was last seen on the ITV soap in March.

The Manchester actor had not long joined the soap as part of a gang who were running drugs under the cover of food deliveries.

He befriended vulnerable Simon Barlow into the gang before Corrie viewers discovered that Jacob had been secretly ripping off their boss Harvey Gaskell, played by Will Mellor.
