A teenager who was suffering seizures was pronounced dead after waiting almost 14 hours for an ambulance, an inquest has heard.
Two desperate 999 calls were made to help 19-year-old Bradley Holder. He had been acting erratically while his breathing had been described as 'on and off' during the episode.
At one point, a friend warned the 999 call handler 'there will be a death if an ambulance isn't sent', Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
A coroner has now ruled that the ambulance service responsible acted in 'gross failure neglect' over the way it handled the situation.
