The world might have to celebrate Christmas a little differently this year because experts are fearful the real thing could be scuppered by coronavirus.
It comes as factory closures, travel restrictions and potential supply-chain problems, mean toys and electronics earmarked to be manufactured in China for Christmas presents months away are at risk, experts say.
Christmas fairs across Europe, including in the UK, have already been cancelled. The mass closure of factories and quarantines to halt the spread of the disease in China could continue to disrupt electronics manufacturing well into the 2020 Christmas period.
