Ayshire appears to be winning the battle against coronavirus as Scotland gets set for an easing of lockdown restrictions.Confirmed cases of the disease in the region have have risen from 1,029 to 1,035 in the last 24 hours.But the number of people battling the disease in Ayrshire hospitals remains at 16 and fewer than five patients are in intensive care.Across Scotland, 12 more people have lost their lives to COVID-19 with the death toll now standing at 2,316.A total of 109,031 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs with 15,288 positive cases.First Minister Nicola Sturgeon today confirmed Scotland will begin easing lockdown restrictions from tomorrow.Households will be free to meet as long as they are outdoors and stay two
