Customers will be limited in buying loo roll, sanitising spray, pasta and other dried foods as shoppers rush to stockpile in case of self isolating.
Tensions have been running high among shoppers as one man was mugged outside Savers and stampedes have been reported in aisles.
Supermarket giant Tesco is also said to have "run out of beer" in some of its branches as customers stock up to prepare for quarantine.
