A total of 1249 people have now died of coronavirus in hospital in Scotland, an increase of 18 deaths from Saturday. The number of positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 have risen to 10,324, which is a rise of 273.
Latest figures also show that 133 Scots who currently have confirmed or suspected coronavirus are in intensive care units and confirmed or suspected cases in hospitals are now at 1,735.
The latest statistics were announced by the Scottish Government today. A press briefing will be held later today.Health Secretary Jeane Freeman, Chief Nursing Officer Professor Fiona McQueen and National Clinical Director Jason Leitch should all be in attendance at the meeting.
