Fans of the ITV soap spent a long time willing Lisa to fully admit her feelings for Carla after they grew close during the investigation into a missing Lauren Bolton.
The pair then shared a charged moment back in October which left them both internally questioning their feelings for one another before they decided to get their friendship back on track.
It was then in November that, after some advice from Ryan Connor, Carla headed back to her flat where she found Lisa getting dressed after spending the night on the sofa following a drunken night in the Rovers Return.
