Coronation Street has revealed the frantic end facing Paul Foreman after it was confirmed that he'll die in upcoming scenes.
Fans have been hoping the heartbreaking exit will never come after Paul's Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis. The former builder was told of the life-shortening disease, in which messages from the motor neurones gradually stop reaching the muscles, in April 2023 with there currently being no cure.
Since Paul's diagnosis 17 months ago, Corrie viewers have been watching the storyline unfold, often with tears in their eyes, as Paul's condition gradually deteriorated. Paul and Billy visited the church where they married before David Platt gave him a taste he had been missing as he turned a beer into bubbles in the Rovers as some of his friends gathered together.
