Coronation Street star Vicky Myers has revealed how she had a 'challenge' on her hands as she kept news of her cobbles romance a secret.

Fans had been desperatley waiting for news of a new relationship between her character DS Lisa Swain and Weatherfield icon Carla Connor.

It started earlier this year when Carla became a listening ear for the stressed-out detective as she managed her teenage daughter and the missing Lauren Bolton case.

Viewers of the ITV soap were then left willing for Lisa to fully admit her feelings for Carla after the pair shared a charged moment back in October which left them both internally questioning their feelings for one another before they decided to get their friendship back on track.
