Over the weekend, Coronation Street's Sally Ann Matthews left fans puzzled with a surprising jibe at ITV on social media. During a Q&A session, she expressed her strong dislike for one aspect of filming. The actress, known for her role as Jenny Connor since 1986 and returning full-time in 2015, was asked by a fan, "Where would you like to film on location?" Sally revealed that location shoots are now scarce, replying: "We don't do on location ...

However, this worked out particularly well for Sally, who then confessed her relief, saying: "Thankfully because I fricking hate being on location - location is s**t - I hate it." Sally didn't stop there, adding cheekily: "So I'm glad ITV have got no money - am I allowed to say that?

Soap devotees were on edge earlier this year when Sally took to her socials, longing for "happier times" amidst a lot of plot lines needing her presence on the set.
