Coronation Street's Toyah Habeeb star says 'never looked so good' in 'beloved' co-star reunion year after exit

The pair, who are famed for playing Toyah Habeeb and Leanne Battersby in the ITV soap, headed to watch their former on-screen flame Chris Gascoyne in his latest gig, almost a year after his Weatherfield exit scenes aired.
As Corrie fans know, Chris bowed out of playing Peter Barlow in scenes aired on Boxing Day 2023. There was an end of an era in Corrie during the last festive season as Peter and wife Carla Connor called it quits, bringing to an end one of soap fans' most-loved relationships.
It then led to the exit of the actor who had earlier confirmed he would be leaving the long-running show after 23 years. Chris first appeared as Peter in 2000 during Corrie's 40th anniversary live episode.
