The actress is back filming on the cobbles as Daisy Midgeley's mum, Christina Boyd. During her last stint in Weatherfield, Christina caused her fair share of trouble for her daughter with her return coinciding with Charlotte's planned departure from the soap later this year.
Amy's return to the ITV soap comes after actress Charlotte Jordan confirmed that she will be bowing out of Weatherfield in 2025 after four years in the role of Daisy.
Charlotte, who joined Corrie as the new character back in 2020, said in a statement: "My time at Coronation Street is something I'll always cherish.
