msn.comSam Aston has announced he is to become a dad for the first time. The Coronation Street star and wife Briony after getting married last year.
The parents-to-be announced the pregnancy news to OK! Magazine and simply said: "We're so happy!" Sam, who plays Chesney Brown in the ITV soap, married childhood sweetheart Briony in a stunning Cheshire ceremony last May with the couple recently celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
The wedding was attended by many of Sam's castmates including Brooke Vincent, Katie McGlynn, Alan Halsall and Jennie McAlpine who plays his on-screen sister Fizz in the ITV soap.
