Coronation Street actress Angela Griffin, 44, who was known for playing Fiona Middleton in the ITV soap in the 90s, has revealed she felt "petrified" after she was "shunned" from the acting world when she decided to leave the soap to take on presenting roles instead.The White Lines actress admitted she was "out of work for 15 months".While Angela has starred in the likes of White Lines, Holby City and Waterloo Road throughout her career, she explained that she didn't expect her departure from Corrie to have such an impact on her television success."I did Angela and Friends, I did Emergency with Angela Griffin, I presented on the red carpet at the Oscars and the Golden Globes," she began."I did not think it would have an impact on my career.
