Former Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis has told fans it's been a 'really hard week' as she offered an update following the birth of her second child.

The actress, who recently played Courtney Vance in the ITV soap, announced that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Joe McKalroy, who she met during a group therapy session in 2021.

back in August. It was earlier this week that Joe confirmed their son's arrival and confirmed his name was a special tribute to someone missing in his life.

Alongside the first pictures of their baby boy and pictures of the new arrival with his older brother, Stephanie's son Caben from a previous relationship, Joe wrote on Instagram: "Welcome to the world, my beautiful baby boy Samuel McKalroy." He continued: "Named after your uncle the one and only who will always weigh heavy on my heart I wish so much that he could’ve met you and cherished you as much as I do," Joe went on, revealing the sweet meaning behind the name the couple have chosen.
