Sam Aston has confirmed his immediate future in Coronation Street after he was seen putting in an impressive first skate on Dancing on Ice.
The actor is among the celebrities taking part in the ITV skating competition show this year and was among the first crop of stars who showed off their skills so far during the opening week of the 2025 series on Sunday night (January 12).
Sam, who is famed for playing Chesney Brown in Corrie, was seen on the cobbles as he met his skating partner Molly Lanaghan for the first time before they took to the ice for the first time and scored 27 for their routine to That’s Not My Name by The Ting Tings, in a nod to the soap star being referred to his character's name more than his own.
Sam's Corrie co-stars were quick to show him their support following his first Dancing on Ice performance. Tony Maudsley said: "WOW!!!
