Coronation Street star Sally Carman-Duttine has been branded a 'special person' by fans as her role away from the ITV soap was uncovered.
The actress, known for playing Abi Webster, took to Instagram with a snap of herself and two other women as she paid them a visit as a patron for their domestic abuse services.
Explaining what she was up to in the caption of her post, the soap star said: "Yesterday, I visited Debbie Jones and the ladies at @res.olutewomenssupport to find out more about the services and support they offer women and girls who are suffering from domestic abuse.
These amazing women openly and honestly shared their horrific journeys with me, made all the more heartbreaking by the lack of support from the police and social services. "@res.olutewomenssupport is a charity that is determined to change all of that but they need your support.
