Coronation Street's Peter Ash flooded with same one-word reaction to co-star reunion after tragic exit

There were emotional scenes last month as Peter was seen bowing out of the ITV soap after six years. His exit came 17 months after his character Paul Foreman was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in another hard-hitting storyline.
At the end of the long-running storyline, viewers saw Bernie Winter and Summer Spellman with Paul when his health took a sudden turn as he started struggling to breathe. But in a tragic turn of events, Paul's husband Billy Mayhew didn't make it to the hospital in time to fulfil his promise of being by Paul's side when the time came due to a string of unfortunate events that delayed him getting there and arriving once Paul had already passed.
