Tina O'Brien was among those supporting her Coronation Street co-star Jane Hazlegrove as she revealed it had been 40 years since her first television appearance.
The actress is currently much-loved for playing Bernie Winter in the ITV soap having joined back in 2019. Jane's Coronation Street character was described as "an old raver who still sees herself as a free spirit".
An early storyline saw her steal her pregnant daughter’s urine to sell fake positive pregnancy tests. But after settling into the street, she's revealed herself to have a big heart who would fight tooth and and nail for her loved ones, which was recently proven during the tragic loss of her son, Paul Foreman. She is also known for playing paramedic Kathleen 'Dixie' Dixon in the BBC medical drama Casualty. She also played Rosie in Making Out, Rosemary Mason in Silent Witness, Yvonne Bradley in London's Burning and had roles in Jonathan Creek, The Bill, Doctors, Families, Lovejoy and Holby City.
