Viewers of the ITV soap best know the pair for playing sisters Leanne Battersby and Toyah Habeeb. But unbeknownst to Leanne, for months, Toyah has been having a secret affair with her partner Nick Tilsley.
Or that was until the truth was revealed during Wednesday night's (September 4) visit to Weatherfield. Nick has been being blackmailed by Leanne's Institute mentor Rowan Cunliffe after he hired a private investigator to spy on Toyah after her bashing of The Institute. There was then a pregnancy scare where Toyah thought she'd fallen pregnant with Nick's baby, however, in a heartbreaking twist she was told she had cervical cancer.
