As fans of the ITV soap know, Emrhys Cooper was seen bowing out of Weatherfield as Rowan Cunliffe. His final scenes saw him in court as he was finally questioned over his involvement with The Institute that saw the group's mentor brainwash Leanne and get Amy Barlow to part with her £40,000 inheritance.
While Rowan wasn't seen being sentenced, Leanne Battersby, Nick Tilsley, Amy Barlow and Toyah Habeeb got news of the court's verdict and were later celebrating the update in the Rovers Return after Rowan had been found guilty, and Amy was thought to be getting some of her money back.
The scenes meant an exit from Corrie for Emrhys, eight months after he made his debut as Rowan. But it didn't take him long to get into his next role as he has been seen playing Prince Frederick in the Snow White pantomime at St Helens Theatre Royal in Merseyside over the festive period.
