Fans haven't been trusting of the cop, played by Jacob Roberts, ever since he arrived on the cobbles last year. Jacob made his debut in the ITV soap as Kit when it was revealed that Bernie Winter was looking for her long-lost son, Zodiac, who had been renamed Christopher upon adoption.
When she found Kit, as she posed as a cleaner before rifling through his drawers, he lied and said he wasn't adopted but it was later confirmed that Bernie had found her long-lost son.
He soon made things difficult for Bernie, even attempting to turn children Paul Foreman and Gemma Winter against her, before Paul's tragic death seemingly brought them together.
