Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney was flooded with supportive messages as she shared an update which left her 'thrilled'.
The actress discovered she was up for an award - but not for her soap role. Claire, who is currently playing Cassie Plummer in the ITV soap, has been named in the 'Favourite Supporting Actor (Drama)' category at the TV Times Awards 2024.
She is nominated for her role as Beverley Carnell in The Good Ship Murder. The Channel 5 series followed former detective Jack Grayling who is living his best life working as an entertainer on a cruise ship.
