Daniel, played by Rob Mallard, already knows the truth, after a video accidentally recorded by Ryan Connor was sent to him by Simon Barlow.
He is yet to let on to Daisy that he knows about her and Ryan's secret liaisons behind his back and in upcoming scenes Daisy is thrown when Daniel tells her he hopes the next step will be her adopting Bertie after he agrees to help her by the Rovers Return.
The penny, however, drops for Ryan when Daniel makes a throwaway comment about the gym job which he got and then lost in the space of an afternoon.
