Coronation Street has teamed up with a clothing brand to launch a range of items referencing iconic businesses from the soap.
The ITV soap has collaborated with Manchester-based brand Joanie Clothing to bring the collection to life. The clothes reference some of the most memorable parts of the show, with nods to the most recognisable businesses on the street.
They will also feature some iconic brands from the Coronation Street universe. The six-piece collection is crafted from a responsible fabric and each piece is named after notable characters and families who have graced the cobbles over the last 63 years.
Katy Roberts, Head of Merch & Shops Delivery at Coronation Street, said: “We are thrilled to be collaborating with Joanie on this retro Coronation Street clothing collection. "For many viewers, the show has a warm, nostalgic feeling that perfectly aligns with Joanie’s values. "Working with a brand with roots in Manchester was also so important to us, and we couldn’t be more proud of the collection we’ve created together. ”The limited collection features a light blue Freshco branded sweatshirt named after eccentric supermarket manager Reginald Holdsworth, and a vintage-style ringer tee named after Roy’s Rolls owner, Roy Cropper.
