The young couple were the last suspects confirmed in the huge whodunnit storyline which has been ongoing since the solicitor's death.
As fans of the ITV soap know, Joel first went missing at the end of September. The news was revealed when he failed to show up to court where it was thought that he'd face comeuppance for some of his twisted crimes.
The police carried on investigating and it wasn't long before the case became a murder investigation after Joel's body was found floating down a river.
