It was back in January that Carla's nephew Bobby Crawford was seen kickstarting a train of events that has now brought Rob back into Carla's life after several years.
Carla's younger sibling, and the former fiancé of Tracy Barlow, is currently in prison after being handed a life sentence for the murder of Tina McIntyre.
But after it was revealed that Carla needs a kidney transplant, Bobby, who is Rob's son, visited his dad in the hope he'd be willing to help Carla and get tested in the hope he'd be a match and donate a kidney to his older sibling.
