Coronation Street could be set for some chilling scenes, with fans speculating a heart-wrenching twist. As Carla Connor faces terror from her brother Rob Donovan following his prison break, two more characters might find themselves in peril.

While it may not be time to worry just yet, some viewers are already fearing the worst, suspecting that one or two characters could be harmed.This week saw Rob take drastic measures as he kidnapped Carla and assaulted her partner Lisa Swain.

Carla was recuperating after her kidney transplant, for which Rob was the donor. Rob had plotted his prison escape and initially didn't plan to be Carla's donor, but was duped into it by Lisa.

She made a false promise to get his sentence overturned if he went through with the transplant. When Lisa reneged on her promise, Rob sought revenge, leading him to kidnap Carla with the assistance of prison officer Mandy, his secret lover.The situation escalated when Rob attacked Lisa before telling Carla she was dead, reports the Mirror.
