One of Stephen's many crimes was stealing £250,000 from the Underworld factory to fund his escape after he tricked Michael to give him the access code to the accounts.
Michael lost his job after Stephen's stealing came to light, which left him struggling to support himself and his daughter. In desperation, Michael asked his dad Ed and uncle Ronnie for the £1,000 he had put towards their business back.
Tonight, Monday, 23 October, Ed gave in and started gambling again, putting all of Micheal’s money on a horse - which ended up winning, much to his delight.
