Not knowing about Ed's past gambling troubles. Then later in the Rovers, the lads gather to watch the match. When Neil suggests they have a flutter, Ed’s sorely tempted.
But he was the one seen apologising to Neil during Tuesday night's episode (September 19) for snapping at him, explaining that he used to be a gambling addict.
