As fans of the ITV soap have seen, Bethany Platt was left fighting for her life after undergoing surgery that went wrong in Turkey.
She had headed to Istanbul to work with a cosmetics company, using her journalist background to write advertorials for the CEO, who is a friend of Debbie Webster.
However, once getting to the clinic, Bethany decided to have work done herself but the liposuction went disastrously wrong and resulted in her contracting sepsis.
